You don't need to provide any personal information to access our website. However, McCormick provides you the opportunity to enhance your visit to our site by providing personal information to sign up for e-mail newsletters, to apply for MSI characterized samples and to get technical support for use of the site. How we use your personal information
If you sign up for the MSI News Bulletin service, we may use the information you provide on our website to send you periodic e-mail newsletters with updates about scientific findings related to spices, herbs and health. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by clicking on the opt-out link located in each e-mail we send. You may also opt out of receiving newsletters from us by choosing to unsubscribe at the bottom of our site’s “Newsletter Sign-Up” page.
If you apply for MSI characterized samples on our website, then we will use your contact information to contact you and/or to send you such samples by mail, if you meet our requirements.
If you provide us with your email address to submit a question to technical support, we may use your email address to respond to you.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze aggregate trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
Disclosure of personal information
Except as provided in this policy, we will not disclose personal information about you without your prior consent or for the primary purpose for which we received it (e.g., to fill a product order). Like many companies, however, we may share aggregate information about people who use our site (for example, the number of people who cook chicken most often for their main meal) to business partners and other third parties.
Compliance with Law
Under certain circumstances, it is possible that personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other legal requirements, such as warrants, subpoenas or court orders. McCormick will comply with any court order or other legal process and will provide your personal information if required in any legal proceeding. We also may release personal information when we believe in good faith that such release is appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of McCormick our users, employees, or others.
